Q: Taking care of Common symptoms (allergies) include nasal congestion, coughing, watery eyes, sneezing, fatigue,?
Taking care of Common symptoms (allergies) include nasal congestion, coughing, watery eyes, sneezing, fatigue, and headaches. Some allergies may cause hives or an itchy rash. I am using,” Cetirizine tablets”, which was good for some time but lately it doesn’t effect.
Cause; I am finding nasal congestion and itching problems when I drink beverage with coffee, eggplant, melon, breathe or snore dust.
I am finding coughing and chest problems when I eat rice.
Can anyone help me how to cure the above problems?
Or some things bitter, vinegar or any sharptasting liquid are really finding itching problmes
A: It sounds like you know what your doing. There's nothing you can do to "cure" asthma, you can control it though. The antihistamines today work well, shots the pills all work well. Avoid the foods that bother you. avoid the products, laundry soaps, bath soaps, etc the bother you. There's not much you can do other then this. If you use it and it bothers you, avoid it.
Q: 16 month old....flu symptoms, allergies, or worse swine!!?
Hello to all my 16 month began vomiting 2 days ago but it only happened that first day twice then yesterday his nose started running and he ran a slight fever. Now today his nose is running, his eyes are watering terribly, he is just so wore out and sleepy all the time, he also seems to be a little congested. I made him a doc appt for tomorrow morning but should i take him to the er now? I am just soo worried with the swine flu going around and all. Plus after i made the doc appt he has gotten worse. I have read about the symptoms of swine flu and i havent read anywhere saying it includes watery eyes so could this just be the change of weather and season? I live in Louisville, KY and just the other day the weather became much colder and less humid starting to feel like fall. I am hoping it is just allergies and the sudden change of weather! Any ideas or advice? should i take him to be seen today since he has gotten worse although he is not runnin a temp. currently but he is still acting clingy and tired, runny nose, watery eyes (seems like he is crying at times). Just a worried mommy! Plus I am 37 weeks pregnant so I am trying to be really cautious because both my son and myself are more likely to get it.
A: Go to the hospital now, infants have a weak immune system. Better safe than sorry.
Q: what is the difference between the symptoms of allergies and the common cold?
A: They can be very similar, but generally you get over a cold, allergies last a lot longer.
Q: ARE MY SYMPTOMS ALLERGiES?
I have had so many headaches lately.
A weird rash on my face in one spot. The rash will get better, then come back. It's a bunch of red dots that sometimes form whiteheads.
Every morning when I'm at my Mom's I constantly sneeze and get a runny nose.
Some smart advice please.
A: Could be. Everything you mentioned can be linked to allergies.
My son will get a rash like that when milk touches his skin. I took pictures and brought it to the doctor. He said it was a sort of hive from the allergic reaction.
My start advice would be to keep a log of what you eat, what animals you are around, and what touches your face (prior to the rash).
The other thing is to do go to an allergist for a skin test where they test for a multitude of common allergens by pricking the skin and administering a small amount of the allergen into the body. It's not a painful process and takes about 15 - 25 minutes to have some answers.
With mild allergic reactions like yours, it is sometimes hard to pinpoint the trigger, especially since it may take up to 48 hours for the reaction to happen. A detailed log will help you and your doctor.
Good luck!
Q: Can mood-swings be one of your symptoms for allergies?
I think I just developed some kind of allergy from the outdoors this year. I'm sneezing, runny nose, and especially itchy eyes. But lately I've been noticing sudden changes with my mood. Do you think I'm allergic?
Oh yeahh and red eyes that hurt..
A: you can be pissed that you dont feel well and easily irritated with the people around you because you feel sick...seems like mood swings but you should just try and be as happy as possible...no need to be sick and mean and the more fun you have the less you realize your allergies
the less you snap on people the more fun they are willing to have with you
Q: i am experiencing dizziness, nausea, piercing stomach pains and weakness. are these the symptoms of allergies?
or do i possibly have the stomach flu?
i just checked my temperature and its only 99.5.. im feeling extremely fatigued as well.. not sure what to do yet
A: Probably more likely the flu. Unless you have some known food allergies. Could be food poisoning too. Did you eat anything questionable in the last few hours? Food poisoning hits you fast. Take your temperature, if you have a fever you probably have the flu. Unless someone can stay and take care of you, you might want to head to emergency if you have a temp, if your nauseous and start throwing up it's easy to get dehydrated which can be dangerous.
Q: What are some symptoms of peanut allergies YOUR baby has experienced?
Not looking for a wiki answer, just your personal one
A: My son had an allergic reaction to walnuts (I was told that he would have most likely had a similar reaction to peanuts). Within seconds (literally!!!), he broke out in hives that covered his entire body and his eyes got really puffy. His chin got red, blistery and itchy. We rushed him to the ER in fear that his throat might get swollen, but he was fine. He was given Benadryl and his hives went away within about half an hour. Very scary experience.
Q: Allergy symptoms without allergies?
For years now I have had all of the symptoms associated with nasal allergies, like runny nose, watery itchy eyes, stuffy head, etc. I have had both the skin patch and the blood tests and both were negative for all allergies. I have been on Allegra, Claritin, Kenalog, pills, sprays, you name it, with absolutely no relief of symptoms. If it isn't allergies, what could it be?
A: Keep a journal of when and where you experience these symptoms. That will help enormously.
There's always the chance that you are being exposed to an allergen that you weren't tested for. Seeing that the medications aren't helping either... this theory probably is off-base.
I'm leaning to the following differential diagnoses:
1. Dry environment: Low humidity can cause these symptoms in some people.
2. Chemical reaction: Maybe you are being exposed to some chemical. Floor wax does it to me.
3. Changes in the barometric pressure: Some people experience these symptoms with sudden drops in barometric pressure. Do they occur right before a rain/snowstorm? or on overcast days?
My guess is the barometric pressure. Do you suffer headaches/sinus pressure with these symptoms as well?
WARNING: many people are suggesting natural healers/homeopaths/alternative medicine. Word to the wise: most of these things are total quackery. There is little (if ANY) evidence to support their practice.
Keep the journal and good luck!
Q: How do I tell if I have allergies or vasomotor rhinitis?
Every April to October I get bizarre nasal problems. I get a stuffy nose, loss of appetite, severe fatigue and severe dizziness/mental fogginess. I do not have any sneezing, watery eyes or runny nose (classic allergy symptoms) and do not respond to antihistamines. I had allergy shots done. The first round was negative. On the second round (the shots that go in deeper) I was allergic to mold. One allergist told me the first round is more reliable than the second round and that my symptoms sound more like vasomotor rhinitis than allergies. He said the second round of shots can be inaccurate. I don't know who to believe anymore. My symptoms are so bizarre. The dizziness and mental fogginess is so severe that I can barely concentrate at work.
A: use need ta start eatin more garlic! damn girl! get some magnesium in you and maybe it wont happen everytime the weather changes!!!
Q: Common symptoms of tomato allergies? extreme itching, redness on arms?
I have been trying to narrow down my a food allergy without going to a doctor because its not that severe. Recently it seems to be getting a little worse. The top of my forearms start to itch like crazy and sometimes the back of my hands. It gets so bad now that I literally bleed from scratching it so much. Usually its only one arm when it happens, but it can be one or the other. Is this a common allergy symptom with tomatoes. I seem to also get a dry mouth now and slight change in the feel of swallowing. I am going to see a doctor soon, but I'd like feedback now as well. Thanks in advance.

Peanut , soybeans and legumes family-
Fabaceae sensu lato, also known by the acceptable alternative name Leguminosae, is the third largest family of flowering plants (after Asteraceae and Orchidaceae) with 650 genera and over 18,000 species. These are commonly called legumes or pulses and the family contains some of our most valuable food crops, such as beans, peas, peanuts, soybeans, and lentils. Other members of the family are important sources of animal feed or green manure, such as lupins, clover, alfalfa, cassia, and soybean

Q: How do you know the difference between mountain cedar allergy symptoms and those of the common cold?
My sister lives in San Antonio, and the allergy count is really high. She has stuffy nose, red eyes, sore throat, and no fever. Is it safe to assume that she just has allergies, or is it a cold?
A: Yep, that's almost assuredly "Cedar Fever". The easiest way to tell is if a lot of other people are complaining of similiar symptoms (which right now they certainly are, myself included.) Of course, there's always a chance that it's a cold, but if her eyes are red because they're itchy, then that's most likely alergies.
Q: Allergies symptoms are horrible this year...any tips to relieve them?
im 16 years old and this year allergies are killing me....they haven't been this bad since i was in the 7th grade. i only have a really stuffy nose but its interfering with everyday life..ive tried everything from showers, medicine, nasal strips, but nothing's working...does anyone have any other tips on how to relieve the worst of allergies
A: same here. my allergies are horrible, and i can barely think when i get stuffed up. go to your doctor and try a prescription nasal spray. nasal sprays dont work for me, so my doc gave me a steroid shot and i was feeling ok in about 3 days. maybe you should get allergy tested too and see if you are eligible for the allergy shots
Q: Is it normal for allergy symptoms and their severity to vary?
I get a short bout of allergies at the same times every year (oct. and march.). Sometimes it starts with a really uncomfortable sore throat, other times it is just a bit scratchy. Then I will either get a stuffed up nose, or sometimes its runny and i sneeze alot. Is this normal and what causes it?
A: Yes, it is called seasonal allergies and varies depending on the amount and types of pollen and mold in the air.
Q: How long will it take for my sulfa allergy symptoms to wear off?
This is pretty bad but I'm allergic to sulfa but I've been using a sulfa topical acne product for like two years. MY DERMATOLIGIST ID RETARDED. anyway, i had some problems with rashes and breathing before I determined it was becuase of the product. I just stopped using. Seeing as I used it for 2 years, how long do you think it will take for the allergies to wear off.
A: It depends on what kind of allergy. By your history, it seems that you have contact dermatitis from the sulfa-based acne medications. The rash will only appear where you apply the medication. If you have a rash other than your face, then this could not be possibly secondary to the acne medication. The only time rash will appear generalized is if you take the medication orally.
Once the offending medications is stopped, it will take several days or weeks for the symptoms to resolve. Your breathing problem has nothing to do with your topical medication because the medication you apply on your face is poorly absorbable.
Q: Just moved into a new house and now I get stuff nose and allergies at night and through to morning?
I lived in my last house for 3 years and didn't have any problems with allergies or anything of that nature. I just moved into a new house and at night before bed I start to feel allergy symptoms like itchy eyes/nose/throat/ears and stuffy nose. When I wake up, I have lots of congestion. Same exact thing is happening to my wife. What could it be?
A: Mold Seems Likely. Central Air? Have It Checked For Dust And Mold. Change The Filters.
Keep in Mind That Air Circulates Faster During The Day When The Sun's Heat Moves Air And Air Slows At Night Without The Sun's Heat To Keep The Air Moving.
More Allergens Accumulate At Night Than During The Day. Tracking Down Which One's They Are Is Harder.
Do You Have A Different Type Of Carpet? It May Hold Allergens Better. Flooring May Also Have An Impact.
Have You Changed Detergents For Washing Bedclothes?
You Both May Have The Wrong Product.
Another: Are You In A New Area That Has Plants And Pollens You're Not Used To? Or Are There Any Waste Water Or Water Treatment Plants Close By?
These Type Facilities Have Two Distinct Operational Modes. The Big Morning Rush And The After Work Rush.
The Plants Produce The Highest Concentrations Of Airborne Particulates After These Rushes.
